Ideal for ammonia and applications that require an increased pressure range such as CO2 refrigeration
Description
The Refrigerating Specialties Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, a global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched its new PEV for the industrial refrigeration market. The Parker Electronic Valve is designed to offer superior control and flexibility while providing increased product lifecycles. The PEV provides superior control and flexibility by offering application specific modulating plug designs and user definable control speeds.
Basic Specifications
Stainless steel housing that is designed to hold up even in the most extreme of operating environments
Comprised of two main components – a valve body and an actuator
Valve body features a 52 bar (754 psi) design and operating pressure (MAWP and MOPD)
Ideal for ammonia and applications that require an increased pressure range such as CO2 refrigeration
Actuator portion of the PEV is sealed to IP67 and is suitable for use in the extreme environments of modern industrial refrigeration applications
Controlled using a 4-20 mA signal from any common controller – whether its temperature, pressure, liquid level or superheat
Available in a 25mm (1”) port size with configurable modulating plug options
Available with ¾”, 1”, 1-1/4” connections in socket weld and ANSI butt weld connections and 20, 25, and 32 mm ends for the DIN butt weld connection
Advantages
Increases refrigeration system efficiency
Easy to use
Large & easy to read LED display and an intuitive configuration interface
Can be setup using a one page quick start guide and also features password protection to prevent tampering
Stainless steel body, the PEV offers increased operating and does not require additional priming or painting
As the valve body is sealed the actuator portion can easily be removed for service leaving the valve installed and under pressure
Offers superior control and flexibility while providing increased product lifecycles
