A new concept of heat pump has been developed for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) generation. The concept is based on recovery of heat on lukewarm wastewater recovered from sinks, showers, and bath tubes. The recovered lukewarm water is stored at atmospheric pressure in a tank. The typical average temperature of wastewater is of 31°C.
