Yoshinari Okuyama, of Coca Cola's Tokyo Research & Development Company Limited, addressed the global initiative to phase out F-Gases and shift to natural refrigerants. Coca Cola Japan's goal is to adopt natural refrigerants in all its vending machines by 2020. Coca Cola already has 1.5 million HFC-free units globally.
