An interactive web platform will be used to allow attendees to view presentations, chat, and explore sponsors’ profiles.
shecco, organizer of the ATMOsphere conferences (and publisher of this website), has announced that its ATMOsphere Ibérica conference will take place online on June 9.
The event was originally scheduled to be held at Hotel Barceló in Málaga, Spain, on March 31, but was switched to an online format due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, following the trend of many other HVAC&R events.
ATMOsphere Ibérica, now in its third year, provides a forum for discussing efficient and sustainable natural refrigerant solutions in commercial, industrial and HORECA (hotel, restaurant, café) applications, especially in the Iberian market.
For the online conference, an interactive web platform will be used to allow attendees to view presentations, chat, and explore sponsors’ profiles.
“The change was made in order to continue to provide the high level of knowledge sharing and networking opportunities attendees have come to know,” said Marc Chasserot, CEO, shecco.
The program will continue to have the same core elements as in the past, with speakers and panelists providing the latest information on natural refrigerants and sustainable HVAC&R technologies. Special focus will be given, as always, to end user stories, highlighting the experiences of these players. Digital Q&A sessions will be set up to contribute to the interactive experience.
“shecco believes their ATMO Events have become even more crucial in the current setting,” said Chasserot. “Not only because this crisis has demonstrated the importance of having a reliable cold chain, but also because it has demonstrated that HVAC&R is an indispensable sector of the global economy.”
As rebuilding starts to take place, many have highlighted the importance of rebuilding the world economy in an environmentally friendly manner. “ATMO events and the clean cooling movement they represent will be key in disseminating information to the industry and end users,” added Chasserot.
