The global supplier of refrigeration solutions has added another complete components range to R744.com – this time for Industrial Refrigeration systems. The product series covers a variety of valves, filters, transmitters and driers.

After having added a wide range of components for retail refrigeration only a short time ago, Danfoss now displays 12 new products used in CO2 applications for industrial refrigeration. Based on more than 15 years of experience in developing subcritical R744 systems, the Danish supplier is able to offer a complete range of valves for cascade CO2 systems. Extensive testing has proved that Danfoss’ components can withstand the impact of CO2 in all aspects.

The products

Danfoss has added the following components to R744.com:

ICS servo valves: The compact, servo operated control valves are designed to regulate pressure, temperature and ON/OFF functions in refrigeration systems for both for low and high pressure refrigerants. Being able to withstand working pressures of 52 bar, the ICS valves can be used on the low and high pressure side, in dry and wet suction lines and liquid lines without phase change. They are regulated by up to 3 pilot valves connected simultaneously.

CVP-XP high-pressure pilot valve: A special version developed for different CO2 applications including hot gas defrost, the pilot valve is used to maintain a constant pressure on the ICS main valve inlet side.

SVA-ST- stop valves: The valve range includes valve sizes DN 15 mm to DN 200 mm in all angleway or straightway execution. They accept flow in either direction.

FIA filters: The filter range includes sizes DN 15 to DN 200 mm. Made of low temperature steel, the filters can resist maximum working pressures of 50 bar and media temperatures of -60°C to +150°C.

REG regulation valves: They operate at a temperature range of -60°C to +150°C and a maximum working pressure of 52 bar.

AKS 41 liquid level transmitter: The electronic level transmitter is used to measure the liquid level in refrigerant vessels. It’s “plug and play” feature avoids calibration and its electronic head and sensor tube can be separated without emptying the standpipe.

DCR filter driers: The driers with exchangeable core are used in liquid and suction lines in refrigeration plants. Besides being able to meet the demanding requirements of high working pressure levels when operating with CO2, the new DCR programme offers flexibility with respect to different pressure versions.

DSV double stop valves: The 3-way valves are designed to meet all industrial refrigeration application requirements, being especially suitable for use with double safety valve systems. They are applicable to all non-flammable refrigerants and non-corrosive gases. Being equipped with a vented cap, they are designed to ensure perfect closing.

EVRS solenoid valves: The stainless steel valves can withstand maximum working pressures of 50 bar and medium temperatures of -40°C to +105°C.

SCA stop-check valves / CHV check valves: The valves are suited for all non-flammable refrigerants. Both product groups open at very low differential pressures of 0.04 bar, and are easy to disassemble for servicing. Their valve cone has a built-in flexibility to ensure a precise and tight closing towards the valve seat. While the SCA models feature a built-in stop valve function, the CHV valves are check valves only.

SFA safety relief valves: The standard, back pressure dependent safety relief valves in angleway execution are designed for the protection of vessels and other components against excessive pressure. It can be used as an external and internal safety device in refrigeration plants. The spring housing is closed tightly to avoid refrigerant leakage.
