In an unprecedented move, natural refrigerant equipment manufacturers Dorin and Embraco have teamed up to further Dorin’s presence in Latin American HVAC&R markets.
Febrava 2015, held 22-25 September in Sao Paulo, Brazil, set the stage for leading compressor manufacturers Officine Mario Dorin and Embraco to announce a new landmark partnership.
Furthering the companies’ dedication to innovation in refrigeration and air conditioning, Embraco, who specialise in hermetic compressors, will begin distributing Dorin’s semi-hermetic compressors as of the first quarter of 2016, to meet demand in the commercial and industrial refrigeration market.
"We chose Febrava to announce this partnership, since the fair is the most important event in Latin America in the field of refrigeration," said Fernando Fischer, leader of Innovation Department of Embraco.

The recognition of Embraco as a leading manufacturer of hermetic compressors in the world and its structure in Brazil was essential to close the distribution agreement," said Giovanni Dorin, Director of marketing and new business opportunities for Dorin.
"We are confident of the success of this partnership to follow up on our mission to provide the best products and the most complete solutions for the Brazilian market," concludes the executive.
Dorin compressors to be distributed in Latin America include the H Series, the HEP Series, and, perhaps most notably, the CD Series for transcritical CO2 applications.
Embraco will maintain a dedicated technical sales team and will have distribution centres for compressors, spare parts and components to effectively and efficiently meet all customer needs.
