compact Kältetechnik has made its name manufacturing tailor-made refrigeration units; included in the company’s product portfolio are environmentally friendly CO₂ transcritical booster systems.

Since 1992, compact Kältetechnik has been dedicated to designing and building project-specific refrigeration solutions in close collaboration with its clients. Among its broad range of refrigeration units, compact offers a number of natural refrigerant technologies for a broad range of applications, including ammonia chillers, cascade R744 systems, R744 heat pumps and R744 transcritical booster systems.

CO₂ transcritical booster systems

compact’s booster systems feature semi-hermetic transcritical CO₂ compressors in a composite circuit for medium and low temperature refrigeration. Other features include stainless steel piping, mounted safety valves, and a custom design according to local conditions.
