World Premiere: New CO2 Heat Exchangers by Kaori

Kaori HeatTreatment Co. Ltd., a pioneer in CO2 brazed plate heat exchangers, has added the new C020/021/022 models of brazed plate heat exchangers to its C series portfolio, suitable for pressures ranging from 70 to 140 bar. The products are dedicated to commercial refrigeration cabinets, Eco-Cute heat pump technology, transport cooling systems, mobile air conditioning (MAC) and more. Kaori Heat Treatment Co. Ltd. is a specialist in heat transfer solutions based in Taiwan. The company has teamed up with R744.com to bring to market its latest CO2 technology, which will be displayed at this month’s Chillventa trade fair in Nürnberg, Germany.

There a three new CO2 brazed plate heat exchanger models introduced by Kaori for various maximum working pressures:

  • Model C020: 70 bar
  • Model C021: 100 bar
  • Model C022: 140 bar

Capacities range from 1~8 kW and are suited for applications including condensers, evaporators, gas coolers and cascade heat exchangers.

Compact design for applications with space limitations

The new and compact C020/021/022 models meet market demand for higher pressure components. The product design incorporates input from Kaori’s European and Japanese customers, and is now available for worldwide markets.

The C020/021/022 models are the smallest in size to complete Kaori’s product portfolio and offer outstanding heat transfer performance, lower weight and is designed with patented stainless steel construction for added savings of resources.The durability of the C series has been proven through inspection, achieving a burst test pressure up to 650 bar, and cycle tested over 100,000 cycles.

The new models are suitable for Eco-Cute/ CO2 heat pumps, CO2 supermarket cabinets, transport cooling systems and mobile air conditioning; especially applications with space limitations.
