Mueller Streamline Co., a leader in providing copper tube and fittings for refrigerant-bearing applications in HVAC and refrigeration systems, offers products for operating pressures up to 48 Bar (700 PSI). While Streamline copper tube and fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASTM/ASME specifications, the market’s evolution towards higher pressure refrigerants encouraged Mueller to attain bolder safety thresholds through the third-party verification of Underwriters Laboratories (UL

Since Mueller Streamline Co. developed and patented the brazed/ solder-type copper fitting developed in 1930, the company has continued to meet market demands in safety and performance.

The only copper tube and fittings UL recognized up to 48 Bar

Following years of testing which included hoop strain, cyclic fatigue, hydrostatic burst, thermal cycling, amongst other procedures, Mueller’s Streamline Copper Tube & Fittings have been recognised at 48 Bar (700 PSI) at 120°C (250°F).

By strengthening the company’s already extensive testing procedures, Mueller Streamline can provide its customers with the highest level of security.

Top of the line manufacturing processes

Mueller Industries’ Streamline copper products are made in the USA with the proprietary technologies of DuraGrainTM and TrueCenterTM, industry leading processes which provide for stable and high performing copper products. Some of the advantages of this manufacturing process include consistent wall thickness and a smaller, tighter copper grain.

  • DuraGrainTM is Mueller Industries’ proprietary copper, which is carefully refined in furnaces to achieve a denser, stronger grain structure with 99.9% copper purity. These uniform and durable properties contribute the high performance of Streamline copper tube, line sets and fittings.

  • TrueCenterTM is Mueller Industries’ patented, laser-directed precision extrusion process. TrueCenterTM ensures that Streamline copper tube, line sets and fittings are highly concentric, so each finished product has consistently strong walls.
