enEX, Italian manufacturer pioneer in the field of CO2 refrigeration, presents the new AIRHEAT/GEOHEAT, high efficiency heat pumps for sanitary water heating. Featuring an improved design, new functions on the controller to make it more user friendly, the new version is especially designed to fit the needs of all commercial buildings requiring large quantity of hot water.
enEX is one of the leading Italian experts in design and production of innovative refrigeration and heat pump systems. The company has produced more than 300 CO2 refrigeration units and several heat pumps of various type, also using CO2 as a refrigerant.
"The new version of Air/Geo Heat pump is a step forward in efficient use of energy in applications for which, until now, fossil fuels were the only possible source of energy", explained Sergio Girotto, company Chief Executive.
Basic specifications of the AIR/GEO Heat pump
Designed for a standard pressure of 80 bar on the low pressure side and 130 bar on the high pressure side, the new AIR/GEO Heat pump can produce hot water up to 90°C. The AIR/GEO Heat pump exists in an air-water and a water-water version and offers compactness and robustness, easy installation and maintenance and a lower noise level when operating.

In January 2011, due to an increasing demand, enEX has established a new factory in Paese, North-Italy, to increase its production capacity. And of course, the heating system of the new facility uses an enEX air CO2 heat pump.
