Coming soon: Subcritical R744 components from Castel

The Italian-based expert in the field of refrigeration & air conditioning is joining R744.com as Bronze partner. Castel proposes a wide range of products, including electronic expansion valves, opportunely modified to be suitable with CO2 systems.

Being active in more than 75 countries, Castel operates as an international player in the production of components for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. The company’s commitment towards the environment takes it to offer innovative CO2 products that satisfy its customers while respecting the environment. Soon Castel will present in more detail its PWM valve 2029 that is suitable for subcritical applications.

Other products suitable with CO2 systems in subcritical cycles from Castel are the following:
  • Ball valves
  • Liquid indicators
  • Filter driers with replaceable solid core
  • Check valves
  • Safety valves
All of these components are CE approved, stamped and designed for a maximum working pressure of (PS) 45–52 bar.
