Raniero Trinchieri of ENEA presented ENEA’s progress in the development of a new 30kW CO2 heat pump for residential heating of hot water as well as a 50kW commercial heat pump. The construction of the heat pump was detailed, including its compressor which utilises 2 cylinders as well as the latest results from recent tests of the heat pumps.
