Yukio Yamaguchi: Efficient CO₂ refrigeration system

This presentation analysed a CO₂ cascade system installed in a small supermarket with a cooling capacity of 6.0kW, including its initial test results and actual performance efficiency ratings. Yukio Yamaguchi, General Manager of the Development Department of CO₂ Refrigeration within SANDEN, highlighted CO₂ as the working fluid which provides the ultimate commercial & environmental solution. He stated that the implementation of governmental incentives for POS are required to assist the wide-spread uptake of CO₂ on the market. This presentation also showcased SANDEN's signature heat pump technology and vending machines.
