NatRef Virtual Trade Show to Feature Live Webinars, Including Policy, End-User Panels

ATMO VTS 2021, set for March 30-31, will include a 24-hour global program of live presentations from exhibitors, market analysts, retailers and policy experts.

The 2021 Virtual Trade Show for natural refrigerants (ATMO VTS 2021) will include an expanded, 24-hour global program of live webinars, including policy and end-user panels, market updates and more.

ATMO VTS 2021 will take place online over a 24-hour period, from 10 am CET March 30 to 10 am CET March 31. The event is designed to fill the physical trade show void as the world continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program will include live events spanning the full 24-hour period, and all time zones, taking place in two virtual auditoriums. The full program will be published on the event website Friday  March 12.

Event organizers are expecting 5,000-10,000 registrations. Premium exhibitors so far include Teko, Zudek, ebm-papst, Carel, Alfa Laval, Dorin, Panasonic and GEA. See a list of all exhibitors here.

24-hour live webinars

The VTS 2021 program will include a policy panel with Bente Tranholm Schwarz from the European Commission, Tim Gabriel from the Environmental Investigation Agency, Andreas Meier from Teko and Barbara Gschrey from Öko-Recherche, a German independent environmental research institution.

There will also be an retailer panel with Richard Taylor from Pick n' Pay in South Africa, Olaf Schulze from German Metro AG, Dario Ferlin from Woolworths in Australia and Jeffrey Carlson from Lunds and Byerlys in the U.S. 

Several of the VTS premium exhibitors are also offering webinars, including Carel, which is presenting about how to increase energy efficiency in commercial applications and food service, based on a recently published report

Teko is offering two webinars, including one on different refrigerant characteristics and their impact on chiller applications, and ebm-papst will present on its new efficient axial fan range, the AxiEco.

Dorin is offering a webinar looking at transcritical CO2 in industrial applications, and Alfa Laval will speak about what drives innovation within natural refrigerants, particularly propane (R290), ammonia (NH3) and CO2 (R744).

Carel is also offering an extensive program of webinars at its own exhibition booth throughout the day. The program will include 23 sessions in several languages.
