Advansor Launches Free Online CO₂ Training Course

Danish OEM Advansor has launched a free online technical training course on CO₂ (R744) refrigeration, aiming to meet the continued demand for remote training created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The course includes nine modules covering both basic and more advanced topics. From start-up, installation and servicing of R744 refrigeration systems, to the functionality and commissioning of heat recovery systems.

“We focus on ‘how to’ and you’ll learn about Advansor’s CO2 racks – without getting your hands dirty,” the company says on its website.

The modules are available in four languages – English, German, Spanish and French, with each session lasting an hour.

The course includes basic knowledge on carbon emissions, and more specific technical advice, guidance and best practice tips. The course is intended to be quite detailed and specific, according to Advansor, and “questions are welcome,” the company said.

“Our online courses are extremely popular, and we have many sign-ups,” said Advansor Aftersales Director Kent Poulsen. “We’re therefore developing the concept to include online start-up, which can be booked directly on our website.”

When conditions allow, Advansor will again provide hands-on training at its facility in Denmark, while continuing its online offerings.

Advansor has also posted a schedule for webinars on CO₂ in stores, industrial plants, and warm climates.
