As CO2 transcritical refrigeration systems increase in popularity, R744.com takes a look at training sessions coming to a town near you in 2019.

  • May 6-13 in Maintal (near Frankfurt), Germany: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) Proklima, an NGO, is providing technical assistance for National Ozone Unit (NOU) officers, covering safe use of natural refrigerants in RAC appliances and related policy issues. The session, lasting one week, is designed for policymakers in the field of ozone and climate protection and is carried out in cooperation with the international vocational training center Bundesfachschule Kälte Klima Technik – in English.

August 

  • August 5-19 in Maintal (near Frankfurt), Germany: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) Proklima, an NGO, is providing a two-week technician training on how to use the natural refrigerants propane (R290), CO2 (R744) and ammonia (R717) safely. The training is composed of theoretical and practical sessions and is carried out in cooperation with the international vocational training center Bundesfachschule Kälte Klima Technik – in English.
