SANHA to sell CO2 fittings up to 130 bar

The German piping specialist has expanded its RefHP fitting range for CO₂ industrial refrigeration systems.

SANHA, the German piping specialist, has expanded its 29000 series RefHP (high pressure solder fittings) for industrial CO₂ refrigeration systems.

The fittings are made of a copper-iron alloy, which makes them suitable for increased use in CO₂-powered cooling circuits, up to an operating pressure of 130 bar: an increase of 10 bar more than typical high-pressure fittings.

They also operate in temperatures from -196 to +150°C and have passed tests from the Underwriters Laboratories (UL, an international safety organisation).

SANHA's RefHP fittings are also suitable to work with a BIM (Building Information Modeling) sotware called BIM Revit. With this software, auto-routing and auto-scaling functions can be used to visualise the installation plan.

Apart from visualising the design drawings, a material list can be created directly by using the BIM Revit. The BIM app, which also contains all other SANHA systems, can be downloaded freely as well.

The company also stated that it expects further growth in CO₂ use in the industrial refrigeration industry.
