Germany company Eberspaecher Suetrak will be presenting its system using CO2 refrigerant for bus air-conditioning systems.
Dublin Buses lined up in Dublin, Ireland.
At the 2017 Busworld show in Kortrijk, Belgium from 20-25 October, Germany company Eberspaecher Suetrak will present its system using CO2-refrigerant for bus air-conditioning systems.
The air-conditioning manufacturer’s CO2 system is modular in design and is specially tailored to meet the key requirements of electric, hybrid and trolley buses.
It also has an integrated heat pump function, featuring an innovative air-flow reversal function that makes the previously complex refrigerant circuit much simpler, according to Eberspaecher Suetrak.
The air vents are then able to change the direction of the air flow to provide a seamless transition between cooling and heating mode.
The refrigerant circuit remains stable in all these operating states – there are no standstill times such with a conventional system switch mode.
The company will also present its other innovative products such as controls for bus air-conditioning that can be used by the driver to make adjustment to the temperature from the driver’s seat.
