INFICON’s HLD5000 Leak Detector for CO2 finds leaks quickly and easily in the production of CO2 Mobile Air Conditioning, Commercial Refrigeration and Heat Pump systems. The long-life IR sensor can effectively cancel background contaminants that could lead to false alarms, including water, alcohol, cleaning solution, perfume, or cigarette smoke. Through its innovative dual-inlet sampling system, the concentration of CO2 is constantly compared to the concentration in the surrounding atmosphere to eliminate false alarms due to background levels of CO2. Finding leaks in less time with less uncertainty results in higher product quality and significantly reduced time otherwise wasted on finding non-existent leaks.
Moreover, the HLD5000 Leak Detector for CO2 is easy to use while providing convenient and trouble-free operation in the manufacturing environment. All programming, namely the precise alpha-numerical entry of set-up and testing parameters, is done via the “soft keys” on the front panel display.
