Güntner’s new air cooler series, the GACV (Güntner Air Cooler Vario) is available for all fluids. The product types GACV CX and GACV CP, for use with natural refrigerant CO2, are high efficiency unit coolers ideally suited to industrial refrigeration applications such as cold rooms and refrigerated warehouses. The two cubic models offer high design variability and a large capacity range from 1 – 237 kW.

The GACV series can be customised quickly and accurately for individual projects by means of the Güntner Product Calculator. Customers can thus choose specific equipment to meet individual requirements from a variety of different material combinations, variants and accessories," according to Güntner.

With robust design, suction fans and wide air throw, the models have large variety of types and design. What is more, thanks to the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) hygiene certificate they are suitable for food processing rooms.

Basic specifications:

  • Operating conditions: -45°C to -35°C
  • Fin spacing: 4mm, 7mm, 10mm and 12 mm
  • Casing: made from corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy AIMg
  • Fans: positioned at an angle (from 710mm) improve the air throw and defrosting behavior
  • Heat Exchanger: aligned or staggered tube pattern, uses special copper tubes or stainless steel for CO2 and has surface-corrugated aluminium fins for high heat transfer
  • Tray: is hinged and thermally-decoupled (condensation free), separate drip plate and marge condensation drain with 45° incline

Advantages:

  • Wide range of applications including sensitive produce
  • Easy to install with ceiling mounting brackets, and side cover with hinges and quick release fastener
  • Easy to clean
  • High operational reliability and safety thanks to Güntner’s floating coil principle, which means that refrigerant carrying tubes do not make contact with the casing, thereby increases the heat exchanger’s service life
