DTI's engineering expertise soon on R744.com

The Danish Technological Institute (DTI), one of the world's leading centres for refrigeration and heat pump technology, will soon offer its engineering services for CO2 Technology in all applications on R744.com.

For a decade, DTI's Centre for Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology has investigated the natural refrigerant R744 (CO2) in heat pumps, industrial and supermarket refrigeration. Today, it is one of the world’s leading experts in this field, offering consultancy in almost all areas of refrigeration technology. Its research efforts in the field of sustainable refrigeration was acknowledged in October 2007 with a nomination for the UK "Cooling Industry Award" for their CO2 training programme in cooperation with Cool Concerns Ltd.

--image1--DTI's Centre for Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology has become a leading training and education centre offering international courses on CO2 refrigeration technology. Comprising one of the most modern laboratories in the world, the DTI can test CO2 systems up to 500 kW, as well as carry out extensive component tests. It is thus a reliable partner for companies in need of verification and accredited tests.

About the Institute

The DTI was founded as an independent, not-for-profit institute in 1906 and is one of the oldest of its kind in the world. The Institute has currently 850 employees, making it one of the world’s largest private institutes to supply technological services such as consultancy, tests, certification and training to companies and public-sector organisations. It is located at six premises throughout Denmark, with two locations in Sweden.
