As one of the industry leaders in the research and development of HVAC&R products, Danfoss aims to assist the uptake of natural refrigerant technology by increasingly adding to their portfolio of CO2 - fitting products, making sustainable refrigerants an easy choice for end-users. The next generation ADAP-KOOL Pack Controller 783 is a LT/MT Pack Controller for CO2 cascade refrigeration systems. Suitable for commercial applications ranging from small food stores to hyper

Overall, the Danfoss line of ADAP-KOOL products – a noteworthy 50,000 systems operating worldwide - support CO2 food retail refrigeration systems by safely cooling, centrally controlling and optimising energy efficiency.

The recently released ADAP-KOOL Pack Controller AK-PC 783 for CO2 cascade systems provides for user-friendly set-up and start-up, simple oil management and tight cascade control.

AK-PC 783 basic specifications:
  • Two suction group controls
  • Integrated cascade control
  • Ability to inform other controllers in the system about operating conditions (forced closing of expansion valves, alarm signals and alarm messages)
  • Ability to support a wide range of refrigerants on the topside of the cascade
  • Supports the new display AK-MMI

Anders Juul, Business Development Manager at Danfoss explains:
We are proud to have brought a dedicated CO2 cascade controller to the market as it makes it easier for the industry to adapt sustainable technologies no matter their location in relation to ambient conditions or the location on the technology uptake curve in relation to CO2 technologies. Danfoss has supported for a long time CO2 cascade systems, but now the product is packed together in fewer components and made easier to use."
