With more than 25 years of experience in the refrigeration industry the Qplan team is also a specialist in the field of energy efficiency and environmental issues. For several years the company has now been involved in natural refrigerants, having developed and installed the first CO2 cascade system in Hungary in 2005. To date Qplan has installed CO2 refrigeration systems in supermarkets for an area of 83000m2 in total.
Latest news and projects
During the last years Qplan installed CO2 cascade systems in supermarkets of French international retail group Auchan and British Tesco, each with a size between 1500m2 and 3000m2 of sales area.
On 12 July Qplan handed over its first transcritical refrigeration plant in a Tesco supermarket in Tiszafüred, near the river Tisza. In addition, another new transcritical plant was handovered in a Tesco Supermarket in Abony, Hungary on 20 July and the third one in Nyergesujfalu is just before to put in operation.
Several additional CO2 projects from small size supermarkets to hypermarkets are already in construction or in the planning for 2010 and 2011 and will be presented in more detail soon on R744.com.
