Italian components manufacturer Frigomec has announced that it will be revamping its brand identity, after 53 years in the industry, to include a growing focus on CO2 (R744) driven by internal and external changes.

The shift comes after months of analysis and preparation, observing the market and listening to customers around the world. “There comes a time when things change,” said Frigomec said in a statement. “Either due to an external cause, such as the ongoing pandemic, or due to internal factors, which bring about a decision to move forward.”

Frigomec’s pressure equipment includes heat exchangers, Horizontal and vertical liquid receivers, suction accumulators, pulsation dampeners, sight glasses, oil separators, and filters. The components are designed for natural gases, particularly CO2, with operating pressures up to 200 bar.

Based in Verona, Italy, Frigomec saw 2020 as a unique occasion to look in the mirror at the company’s brand assets and values to assess its competencies and to determine its vision and mission. The change centers on the company’s entire brand, and features  a new corporate identity that will be released gradually throughout the year, including a new logo, new communications tools, a renewed website, and updated product literature and advertising.

“Behind the new image, we are still the same partner you can count on for technical support, regulatory expertise, tailored solutions and made-to-measure performance and efficiency in the HVAC&R sector, with a growing focus on R744 requirements,” said Frigomec.

Klimal by Frigomec, a subsidiary that provides R744 solutions, will also have a new logo.

More elements of the new online identity will be released via a splash page, which is linked to the current website.

Frigomec has also released a new online video showing the inside of its two production facilities, – in S. Pietro di Legnago, Italy, and Villa Bartolomea, Italy – where it produces over 3,000 products daily.

“With 50,000m2 [538,196ft2] available to design, manufacture, stock and pack a broad range of products, we deliver to nearly 50 countries and over 500 customers around the world,” said Frigomec.
