ATMO VTS webinars and exhibits are available on the show platform until April 30 – with webinars permanently online at the ATMOsphere network.
The ATMO Virtual Trade Show (VTS) 2021 for natural refrigerant technologies, which drew 3,227 registered attendees from nearly 1,500 companies in 83 countries on March 30-31, will live on in two online platforms.
All 25 webinars, 21 of which were held live over the 24-hour event, as well as the 35 exhibitor booths, will be available to registered attendees at the event platform until April 30. In addition, the webinars will be permanently available to members of the ATMOsphere Slack-based network. ATMO VTS and ATMOsphere are both organized by shecco, publisher of this website.

ATMOsphere is the world’s first network for natural refrigerant and clean cooling experts providing real-time, 24/7 access to like-minded stakeholders from around the world. It already boasts more than 600 members from 17 time zones.
Show recap
The ATMO VTS webinars took place in three auditorium halls and included numerous technology-orientated sessions and three panel discussions. Two of these sessions featured end users from around the world (U.S., South Africa, Europe, and Australia) sharing their experiences with natural refrigerants, while the third panel was a dedicated EU Policy Panel focused on the highly topical F-Gas Regulation review.
The 35 exhibitors also went all out this year, offering meeting room presentations and in-booth displays of products. During the 24-hour live period, attendees could interact with each other, as well as with the exhibitors at the booths (complete with personal avatars). Additional networking options were available in the virtual lounge as well as the ATMOsphere Slack community. Have a look at the booth highlights per exhibitor.
By taking what worked from the first ATMO VTS event in September 2020, incorporating feedback from exhibitors and attendees, and adding additional improvements to the functionality and design, VTS 2021 raised the bar for HVAC&R virtual events.
Thus far, the feedback from the show from exhibitors and participants alike is very positive. “We have seen a clear improvement in quality, content and engagement between participants – which are key objectives as we become accustomed to the new ‘virtual’ normal,” said Marc Chasserot, Founder of ATMOsphere and CEO of shecco.
This year, VTS also featured “Innovation of the Year” awards where attendees at the live show could vote for the five short-listed products. Carrier won Gold for its PowerCO2OL CO2 rack, Danfoss won Silver for its CCMT Light electric regulating CO2 valve, and Alfa Laval won Bronze for its CB24 R290 Condenser. More than 600 votes were received. Read more about all three innovations.
The Virtual Trade Show for Natural Refrigerants is an annual event and is expected to return in 2022.
